As a diuretic, buchu is used to treat urinary tract infections and aid the kidney. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and is commonly used as a stomach tonic. Rooibos is packed with anti-oxidants.

Cederburg Brew

Don’t get us wrong: technology is great and we appreciate all this stuff but we do miss being offline. Luckily, there are still places where we can tap out and escape. The Cederberg is our place.

Over the years, we’ve formed close bonds with the people from this area and we are proud to do business with them. A definite highlight is collecting our Buchu and Rooibos extract from Oom Gert, a subsistence farmer from the village of Heuningvlei.

Orders are arranged thru messages to Oom Gert’s neighbour and delivery is made by donkey cart. For us this is as good as business can get. And that’s why buchu is the business.
